Erica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Dominican University and a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Eastern Illinois University.
Erica has a background in community mental health with specific experience working with children and adolescents in foster care, emergency group homes and transitional living programs. She is passionate about supporting clients through a variety of mental health concerns and life transitions.
Erica mainly utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. She understands that no two people’s experiences are the same, but believes that each person deserves a safe and trusting space to express their true thoughts and feelings. Erica’s goal is to create an environment that is supportive of personal growth, healing from trauma and improving self-compassion. With empathy and understanding, she works with each individual to build on their strengths and empower them to overcome the challenges they are facing.
